About Us

Lights Unlimited provides aesthetic lighting for holidays, special events, and unique spaces.

We started as frosty bearded, roof climbing laborers installing Christmas lights as seasonal work between university semesters and indie concert tours. When Mike’s hockey coach wanted to sell the business, we bought it.

In the summer, we started bringing lights to parties and building our own light fixtures. Our friends seemed to like it so we kept doing it.

Sometimes when we were sitting on a restaurant patio, we would mention to the manager that they could use some nice lights. Then the manager would say “Yeah I think so too.”

Then we started getting calls from architects and executive directors. They seemed to like our designs so we would build them what they wanted.

Now we have the privilege of employing a hardworking group of friends to help us out. We have a Christmas light installation business that we love and are very proud of, as well as a lighting design capability that continues to flourish.

We hope that our community appreciates what we do and are proud to compile some of our favorite works from the past few years on this web site.
