How much does it cost?
Every project is priced uniquely. However most residential projects fall between $500 and $3000. When a large amount of decorating is involved fees can go well past double or triple that amount. Please call or email us for a quote.
Can I provide my own lights?
We do not install client-provided lights. We sell contractor-grade materials and pass that provide the best value to you.
Should I remove my lights in the Spring?
We do not require a spring removal with our installations but we do recommend it. Lights become cloudy and dim after prolonged sun exposure during the summer. Our annual clients enjoy professional, bright displays, neat and tidy spring removals, as well as lucrative price discounts – every season!
In the case of trees we are less concerned about UV exposure, but tree growth and wind must be taken into account. Trees grow and maintenance becomes increasingly difficult as we move from Year 1 to Year 2 to Year 3. If left unchecked for long enough, the lights will be in the tree permanently. For trees requiring a bucket truck installation lights can typically be left up for 2-4 years before major service work or reinstallation is required.
Should I remove my lights from my tree? (less than 25’)
For most small and medium-size trees we recommend yearly installation and removal to ensure a top quality look year in and year out. While sun damage is unlikely in this case, with trees the longer you leave lights in a tree the harder it is to take them out.
Should I remove my lights from my tree? (greater than 25’)
Trees larger than 25’ require a lift truck for proper installation. The benefit of this is that our crew can securely attach the light strands to the branches as they work. Lights are hung with proper “droop” allowing the tree to grow without straining the lights. These large installations typically last a long time. Maintenance will eventually be needed.
Do you offer storage?
Yes. Storage is $90 per 102L bin. Oversized items such as wreaths can also be stored but prices may vary.
Can I provide my own Christmas lights? I saw some on sale the other day.
No. We do not install client-provided lights.
Do your Christmas lights come with a warranty?
Our seasonal installations are warrantied from September until the end of January. For specific product warranties it depends on the product. Retrofit lights such as C9 or G30s typically last 7-10 seasons. Occasionally individual bulbs may need to be replaced but it’s fairly rare. C6 or 5mm lights typically last 4-7 seasons. Occasionally a string will fail earlier than that but most will not.
Do I need to remove my Christmas lights in the spring?
We don’t require Spring removals after we do the installation but we highly recommend it. Lights become cloudy and dim after prolonged UV exposure and clips can become brittle. Our annual clients enjoy professional, bright displays, neat and tidy spring removals, as well as lucrative price discounts.

When are Christmas lights removals done?
Late March or April. Snow drifts and ice jams make removals nearly impossible before the Spring thaw.
Do you offer storage services?
Yes, we store many clients’ Christmas or patio lights during the off-season. We charge a fee for this service, but our clients love not having to give up shelf space or haul the bin in or out when we come to install or remove.
How long can I leave lights in my tree?
As we all know, one of the greatest things about trees is that they grow! Unfortunately this means that the longer the lights stay in a tree, the harder is it to remove or maintain them. For most trees recommend yearly installation and removal to ensure a top quality look year after and longevity of the product.
Can I rent lights?
Yes. Whether for residential or commercial use, many of our products can be rented for Christmas displays, patios, or events.
